Just came back from mission trip to arunothai on wed and I realised this time's mission trip is filled with many miscommunication or rather the lack of it as well. Kind of affects the way I view mission trip and the effectiveness of it. So during the planning this year, we had Wu chuan dao as our new chuan dao so he has a lot of things that he doesn't know and I think cause the position of power is suddenly empty so no one seems to be able to say anything about it. So the planning process is already not ideal. Either way, we made our way there. Then there was a lot of time spent on preparing rather than actually doing things that are substantial. For example, we could have done more evangelism work but cause we were not very prepared so most of the afternoons we had to stay back just to prepare the stuff. Then Xiao jun and Mei li had their fair share of arguments which kind of snowballed to some cold fight. In fact I feel that meili is too defensive on her part. If she could have been more open to opinions then it'll be good. On the other hand, xiao jun might have been rather harsh on her comments and when she's agitated she sounds rather straightforward? So I guess that's when they bear grudge on one another. But I was glad when meili decided to approach xj during the last day before our flight to at least talk it out. Then wu chuan dao is just not very suited for the place maybe. He kept trying to find meat and all but it seems like he is just showing how badly he's adapting to the environment. Apart from him, ah bo and Qing rong are also always saying things like they can't do this and that cause they are old or not talented. I seriously think that these are just excuses. And if you really think that you can't contribute then why come in the first place? Then now my own problem,I really regret asking in the family group chat whether or not they want to feng xian towards the da gu di church. I didn't know that mum would post it on the Sunday school group chat and ask everyone else. Now people misunderstand why we are collecting normal chai chuan and also extra money for the Thai church. And the problem is I don't even know if the sum of money "donated" is really for the kids there or just for the chuan dao to spend on his own. Well, who to blame but myself. Should have just kept to myself and not ask such stuff. Then maybe I wouldn't need to give so much money as well. Sigh. So bothered by all these stupid small things. Hope it passes soon.:/
